Our instruction and the coaches implementing the training set us apart from other clubs in the Twin Cities. Athletes on our summer teams will learn foundational technical skills and implement systems of play that will prepare them for not only their grade or intermediate school, but High School and even Collegiate play! All athletes, from beginners in 4th/5th grade through advanced athletes in 10th grade, possess the ability to learn ALL these concepts through hard work and focus!
Evaluation and Placement

Kokoro Volleyball
You will be assigned an evaluation hour between 4p-9p
Placement on teams for practice and competition will be based on skill and grade in school. Decisions on team placement are final and non-negotiable. Absolutely no athletes are cut from our fall league! Further, since no athletes are cut, all services are contracted upon registration. All services will be provided and no refunds will be given.

Evaluations will take place: Sunday, August 2024 beginning at 4p

Specific evaluation time will be emailed to you after you register and as we lead up to the evaluation date.

You can plan for a 75 minute evaluation time slot between the hours of 4-9pm.

Please do your best to block out this evening so your athlete is available. Scheduling one-off evaluations is not ideal for your athlete or our staff

Practices
Beginning Sunday, July 2024-Mid-August, 2024

You will have two team practices per week.

Practices will occur on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays.

No commitments Friday through Sunday

The days/times your team will practice will be consistent for the entire summer league, with the exception of week #1.

Practice slots will be for 1.5 hours between 5pm and 9:30pm.

All practices are held at Kokoro Volleyball and possibly neighboring schools depending on participation numbers.

Upon evaluation July 2024, all families will fill out a form in which they can indicate a practice day that does not work for their schedule. We will do our very best to accommodate that schedule request. However, due to our priority being proper placement of athletes, we cannot make any guarantees on a team’s practice nights.

Please do not request practice days/times or team placements with friends in advance of your evaluation day.

Specific practice day/times will be emailed to all participants during the week of July 2024.
Competitions
Saturdays

Competitions will be held on Thursday evenings starting mid-July going to mid-August.

Competition Dates: 7/13, 7/20, 7/27, 8/3, 8/10 (morning to early afternoon start times).

Competition will be hosted around the Twin Cities Metro area with other area clubs.

These competitions will consist of two best-of-three set matches and may occur over a 2-3 hour period between the hours of 5:30pm-10:00pm

Season will conclude on the 5th Thursday with final competition.
Fees
Summer ETS
June-August 2024
Fees must be paid in full to ETS at time of sign-up
The ETS Total Performance Program focuses on linear and lateral speed development, relative strength, deceleration mastery, injury prevention, and fucuses on maximum effort strength + power development training for athletes to establish a foundation for athletic success.
Registration is open to '23-'24 Club Season athletes, Summer League athletes and siblings. 60 minute sessions are Monday-Friday, up to 4 sessions per week. You are able to sign up for sessions when you register and pay through the ETS website.
Refund/Cancellation Policy
Kokoro Volleyball reserves the right to not provide any refunds to athletes/families that remove themselves from summer camp, lessons, summer and fall league after programming has begun.
With the high level of interest in all programs, we often are turning athletes/families away to hold a spot for registered athletes. Due to this, others have lost opportunities to train with us.
We will always put forth effort to replace an athlete that requests to drop from our programming in which case we would offer a prorated refund determined by the amount of time athlete/family utilized services plus an administration fee. Again, this would only be in the circumstance in which we find an athlete to replace you.
