ABOUT
KOKORO VOLLEYBALL

Founded in 2010, Kokoro Volleyball has grown from 7 club teams in our inaugural season to 40 teams in our 2022-2023 season.  We offer training year-round through volleyball skill camps, individual and small group lessons, summer and fall leagues, and our regular club season.

"We are thrilled to be doing what we love and giving back to the sport that has given us so much."

Our Mission

Kokoro Volleyball is dedicated to the growth and development of each athlete we train. This growth will encompass all areas: body, mind, and spirit. Each athlete will strengthen their physical abilities through training, recovery, and rest, engage their mind to be present where their feet are, and raise their spirit as a teammate, leader, and competitor.

Kokoro Volleyball will accomplish this by training our athletes, breaking down each skill into its components, and improving them to advance our athletes' overall skill and performance. The training we will provide and the lessons we will teach will lead to the continued success of each athlete in all aspects of their life.

Our Vision

We are a group of hard-working, challenge-seeking individuals with a common purpose. The common purpose is to create ourselves in the grandest version of the grandest vision we have ever had of ourselves.

We choose to act with reverence, compassion, enthusiasm, and love; we choose to think positively about everything we encounter; we choose to feel and communicate openly and honestly regarding our feelings as well as accepting the feelings of others; we choose to speak truthfully and present reality to each other directly. We understand that we are in control, and our actions define and display our common purpose.

Our Story

Founded in 2010 with seven teams in rented gym space, Kokoro Volleyball has grown into its own six-court facility, training over 900 athletes year-round.

Jennifer Brathol, Founder and Director

My own connection to volleyball began in high school and continued through collegiate and international competition. I've enjoyed coaching all levels of development camps, leagues, high school, and club. I believe that volleyball and sport help develop athletes for success on the court and in life.

I am proud of who we are and what we believe in at Kokoro Volleyball. I can't wait for you to join us.

R.T. Luczak, Founder and Director

For the past 25 years, I have been able to train athletes just learning the game of volleyball and those competing at the Division 1 and professional levels.

I believe there is a difference between coaching and training.  My philosophy is simple: training is the ability to break down each player’s skills into components and then improve those components to increase each athlete's skill level.

I look forward to seeing each athlete's growth at Kokoro Volleyball - Body, Mind, and Spirit.
