UNPARALLELED INSTRUCTION
Our instruction and the coaches implementing the training set us apart from other clubs in the Twin Cities. Athletes on our summer teams will learn foundational technical skills and implement systems of play that will prepare them for not only their grade or intermediate school, but High School and even Collegiate play! All athletes, from beginners in 4th/5th grade through advanced athletes in 10th grade, possess the ability to learn ALL these concepts through hard work and focus!
EVALUATIONS/TEAM PLACEMENT
Placement on teams for practice and competition will be based on skill and grade in school. Decisions on team placement are final and non-negotiable. Absolutely no athletes are cut from our summer league!
-
Evaluations will take place: Wednesday, July 5 beginning at 4pm.
-
Specific evaluation time will be emailed to you after you register and as we lead up to the evaluation date.
-
You can plan for a 1-hour evaluation time slot between the hours of 4-9pm.
-
Please do your best to block out this evening so your athlete is available. Scheduling one-off evaluations is not ideal for your athlete or our staff.
PRACTICES
-
You will have 2 team practices per week.
-
Practices will occur on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays.
-
No commitments Friday through Sunday.
-
The days/times your team will practice will be consistent for the entire summer league, with the exception of week #1.
-
Practices will begin for some teams on Monday, July 10.
-
Practice slots will be 4:30-6:00pm, 6:00pm-7:30pm and 7:30pm-9:00pm.
-
At evaluations in July, all families will fill out a form in which they can indicate practice days/times that do not work for their schedule and we will do our very best to accommodate that schedule request. However, due to our priority being proper placement of athletes, we cannot make any guarantees on a team’s practice nights. We will email you your exact practice day/time with team roster on or before the following Wednesday morning.
-
Please do not request practice days/times or team placement with friends in advance of your evaluation day.
-
All practices are held at Kokoro Volleyball.
