The NorthStar Volleyball United Fall League (Formerly named "Twin Cities Fall League") will be in its 6th season. For the past two years, the league has been open to athletes that were not participating in their fall High School volleyball season.
This year, with the MSHSL deciding, hopefully (fingers crossed), to compete in the spring of 2021 we are here to provide athletes and teams the ability to continue playing the sport they love in an environment that consistently and strictly adheres to the Minnesota guidelines for youth sports and competition. Most sites will go beyond the Minnesota guidelines.
The league will have levels of play from beginners to ELITE level athletes that are committed to compete a the highest levels of collegiate volleyball in a 2021, 2022 and beyond.
Format 2, back to back matches on each date of competition
Location Twin Cities Metro, MN & Regional Sites as Needed
Divisions 5th/6th Grade, 7th-9th Grade, 10th-12th Grade
Competition Divisions Open, Premier, Club, Aspire, Classic (within each grade division)
Cost $425.00 **This is a JVA Event ANYONE may participate and NO
athlete membership is required.
Awards 1st and 2nd place in each division.
Registration Opens Thursday, August 13th
Registration Closes Tuesday, Sept. 1st (or when league is at capacity)
Rosters Not required
Refunds Prorated refunds, minus any incurred expenses will be provided if MDH,
the CDC or Governor Walz changes guidelines for youth sports to
exclude this level of social gathering. To be clear, refunds will not be provided for teams unable to compete should that team not have
enough athletes for a date of competition, so please plan your team
The individual registering teams for the NorthStar Volleyball United Fall League assumes all liability for the compliance with the "...SafeSport Act of 2017" by ALL individuals that will be coaching, training or chaperoning the teams they are registering for the NorthStar Volleyball United Fall League. This includes anyone that will be coaching, training or chaperoning the team(s) they are registering at any time during the event.
Further, the individual registering teams for the NorthStar Volleyball United Fall League assumes all liability for compliance with MDH, CDC and Governor Walz's guidelines for youth sports at all times during participation in the League; this includes both competition and practice. Should a team be found to not be in compliance, they will be asked kindly to comply however if subsequent non-compliance is observed the team will be removed from competition immediately.
