The Big City Luau will be in its ninth year in 2021!  Last year, the event hosted over 500 teams participating in the 12s - 18s divisions!  Due to COVID-19 and MDH/CDC restrictions the format for this years event will be determined closer to the event.  We will work to schedule as many matches as possible over two days in a manner that follows the restrictions/rules/guidelines so as to promote the health of all those in attendance.  The tournament will continue to have certified up officials for all matches, participation gifts for all athletes and prizes for division champions, the division runner up, and a division consolation champion.

**New in 2021:  The Luau will be partnering with BallerTV to ensure families and friends will have an opportunity to watch each and every match, regardless of their physical location or any CDC/MDH or individual facility spectator (no-spectator) requirements.

Teams of any affiliation (JVA, AAU, USAV etc) will be allowed to register and compete in the event.

The Big City Luau will be partnering with University Athlete to ensure all collegiate coaches across the country have access to our participants.  University Athlete is THE recruiting software College Coaches utilize to recruit all major events across the country!  College coaches will have access to ALL schedules and rosters to ensure they do not miss any athletes in the event.  Additionally, ALL athletes can set up a personalized University Athlete account at NO COST and post further information about themselves including, additional contact information, skill videos, highlight videos and other match footage!
