The Big City Luau will be in its tenth year in 2022!  We are looking forward to a more traditional event this season!!!  That said, we will continue to be mindful, educate ourselves, and place our coaches, athletes and staff first in our mind when making decisions in relation to our event and their health.  The tournament will, as we do every year, have certified up officials for all matches, athlete gifts, team trophies and individual medals for; division champions, the division runner up, and division consolation champion.

**At this time there are no restrictions on spectators, and we look forward to seeing everyone again in 2022!  As stated earlier we will of course monitor the the requirem,ents/restrictions put in place by the CDC/MDH or individual facilities regarding spectators.


Teams of any affiliation (JVA, AAU, USAV etc) will be allowed to register and compete in the event.


The Big City Luau will be partnering with University Athlete to ensure all collegiate coaches across the country have access to our participants.  University Athlete is THE recruiting software College Coaches utilize to recruit all major events across the country!  College coaches will have access to ALL schedules and rosters to ensure they do not miss any athletes in the event.  Additionally, ALL athletes can set up a personalized University Athlete account at NO COST and post further information about themselves including, additional contact information, skill videos, highlight videos and other match footage!


























The individual registering teams for the Big City Luau assumes all liability for the compliance with the "...SafeSport Act of 2017" by ALL individuals that will be coaching, training or chaperoning the teams they are registering for the Big City Luau Tournament.  This includes anyone that will be coaching, training or chaperoning the team(s) they are registering at any time during the event.

Further, the individual registering teams for the Big City Luau assumes all liability for compliance with MDH, CDC and Governor Walz's guidelines for your sports at all times during participation in the event; this includes both competition and practice.  Should a team be found to not be in compliance, they will be asked kindly to comply however if subsequent non-compliance is observed the team will be removed from competition immediately.
